What is Nearby Bakes?
Nearby Bakes is a curated platform that connects you with trusted home bakers and local bakeries near you. Each order is freshly prepared by the selected bakery.
When does the order window close?
Orders must be placed at least 2 days before the selected preparation date. This helps ensure freshness, quality, and proper customization.
Can I place a same-day or next-day order?
No. Same-day and next-day orders are not accepted. All orders close 48 hours in advance.
Can I customize my cake?
Yes. Depending on the bakery, you may be able to customize:
• Flavour selection
• Design preferences
• Special messages
Customization availability varies by bakery.
Do you offer home delivery?
No. Nearby Bakes is a pickup-only platform. Customers must collect their orders directly from the selected bakery.
Where do I pick up my order from?
The pickup location of the selected bakery will be clearly shown while placing the order.
What are the pickup timings?
Pickup timings depend on the slot selected during checkout and the bakery's operating hours.
What payment methods are accepted?
We accept online payments only, including:
• UPI
• Debit and Credit Cards
• Net Banking
Is Cash on Delivery (COD) available?
No. Cash on Delivery is not available on Nearby Bakes.
Can I cancel my order?
Yes. Orders can be cancelled up to 24 hours before the scheduled pickup date and time.
Is there a cancellation fee?
Yes. A 50% cancellation fee applies, as preparation begins in advance.
Can I cancel on the day of pickup?
No. Same-day cancellations are not permitted.
Who prepares my order?
Your order is prepared by the selected local bakery or home baker partnered with Nearby Bakes.
What if there is an issue with my order?
Please contact the respective bakery directly. You may also write to Nearby Bakes at contact@nearbybakes.com within 24 hours of pickup, and we will try to assist you.
